Finally, after twenty years of cutting my hair, I upgraded from my aged Wahl clippers to the Oster Classic 76 with a variety of metal clipper blades.

Yes, this was a pricey update when you add the expenditure of all blades, but, in mixture with the metallic blades, the Vintage 76 does a far greater job in 1/3 enough time compared to the Wahl clippers ever do, therefore I feel it’s money good spent. I want I’d committed to these clippers years back!

I’ve read other evaluations of individuals complaining about the Clippers obtaining too warm. I imagine some of these folks did not really take the time to browse the instructions or view the connected Oster Youtube videos about how to use and keep maintaining the Classic 76.

Before first use (and occasionally from then on), there exists a small ball bearing privately that should be depressed together with your fingernail and lubricated with the included oil to avoid the Clippers from overheating from internal friction.

Also, when changing blades, the clipper must be running when you press the brand new blade into position. This probably appears counterintuitive, but that’s how it’s done correctly to prevent eventual harm to the Clippers.

Keep those tips at heart, and I can’t observe how you would be dissatisfied with the Basic 76.
